About Us

Hi, I'm Moira. I never gave much thought to buying clothes for my kids until I had a child who was a different size. Suddenly, I was searching through racks with little success, trying to find something that fit.

 

Going to a school with a uniform was hard, as shorts and pants weren't made for larger kids. Either the crotch was mid-thigh, or the waist reached just under the chest. Additionally, clothing lines with husky sizes didn't work, as they were also too small. I knew I wasn't alone, and other parents shared my dilemma. Why were there no clothes for boys and girls of different sizes? After struggling to find formal pants for a wedding without much luck, I decided to take action, and the journey to Husky Plus 4 Kids began.

First, I convinced my neighbor, Mary (my Assistant), to join me, making Husky Plus 4 Kids a women- and veteran-owned company. We are proud to say our clothes will be made in the USA. ​​

We are starting with basic clothes, before moving on to more fashionable styles as we grow. We want to give children of all shapes and sizes a chance to express their individuality and style.
